The 2024 Fill the Boot campaign is officially in the books, and while we're still tallying the totals, I wanted to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who played a part in this year's success. This event holds significant importance for both our department and union, and it's the collective effort of many individuals that truly make it a great event every year.
A special shoutout goes to our dedicated coordinators who managed the locations, to our members who, whether on or off duty, stood in front of Fry’s for hours, and to our management team, whose support in involving our on-duty crews is huge help every year.
This event stands as a testament to the Departments of Local 493 and its members ongoing commitment to our community. This event every year makes me proud to be part of this organization, I hope you all feel the same. Thank you!
